Rob's journey into the world of music began in a household where melodies and beats filled the air. His mother's singing echoed through the rooms as she went about her daily tasks, and his father, a drummer himself, curated a collection of albums that he played every weekend. Rob vividly remembers the day his father introduced him to the electrifying world of rock 'n' roll through "The Sweet's" iconic track, "Ballroom Blitz." From that moment, he knew his destiny: to play the drums and recreate that energy he felt.

Growing up, Rob immersed himself in music, watching his father's bands rehearse in their living room and joining neighborhood bands during his junior high years. His passion for drumming only intensified as he progressed through high school, fueling his determination to pursue a music career in a bigger city. After graduation, he packed his bags and headed to Phoenix, Arizona, where he not only worked, but also delved into the local music scene, playing original music and sharing the stage with renowned bands.

Life eventually led Rob back to Ohio, where he balanced the responsibilities of starting a family with his unwavering love for music. He found camaraderie and creative expression in a local band, fronted by one of his closest friends, and together, they made music that resonated through the music community. After a brief hiatus, Rob found himself drawn back into the world of music, this time joining a Fleetwood Mac tribute band alongside his friend. However, tragedy struck with his friend's untimely passing, leading Rob to search for a new musical path.

His journey led him to various cover bands, where he continued to hone his craft and explore different musical styles. It was during this period that fate intervened, and Rob crossed paths with the talented musicians of Against The Wind. Joining the band felt like coming home, a perfect alignment of passion, skill, and camaraderie.

Rob's drumming style is heavily influenced by the legendary Don Brewer, the mastermind behind Grand Funk Railroad and the driving force behind The Silver Bullet Band. Drawing inspiration from Brewer's powerful beats and innovative rhythms, Rob brings a dynamic energy to the stage, anchoring Against The Wind's sound with his drumming skills. With sticks in hand and a heart fueled by the spirit of rock 'n' roll, Rob continues his musical journey by captivating audiences and paying homage to the timeless magic of Bob Seger and live music.
